 Our approach to conducting a constructability review is very similar to our process for conducting a VE study. Our constructability review approach shifts the focus from optimizing the design to optimizing the project for construction and operations. One of the key differentiators between our constructability review and that of others is the additional attention that we give to ensuring that the facility, as designed, is operable and maintainable over the long term.
There are three general components to our constructability review process:
- Constructability/Build-ability
- Operability
- Value Engineering
Since the value engineering process was developed for the purpose of identifying alternative solutions that result in value improvements to an existing design, we use this same proven process to provide the structure for these constructability reviews
